Skincare Routine

I like having a slow morning routine and a consistent night routine to wind down. Here is my current skincare routine that I’ve been loving lately. A slow morning routine also means that I wake up extra early to make coffee, have quiet time, and spend moments outside in peace and solitude. I try to make sure to spend a couple minutes in the same place at night at least once a week to wind down and think about my day or week.

In the mornings the first thing I do is wash my face with the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. I find this cleanser to be gentle enough for the morning but still makes my face feel fresh.

Then I go in with The Ordinary Buffet serum all over my face. I let that sit for a bit and go and boil some water to make my morning coffee. In the meantime, I grind my beans and get my Chemex and filter situated. Afterwards, I go ahead and make my coffee and as it drips and put on music and spend some time in the word. Recently, I’ve been meditating on Romans. After all this, my coffee should be ready so I drink it while I get started on my makeup. I have a makeup routine video, you can check out here if you’re interested. My routine generally stays the same most days, but I’ve recently been using this new primer from The Ordinary and I’ve been loving it!

My night routine is a little more extensive on the skincare end of things. I start off with coconut oil to get off all my makeup and then go in with this Fig & Yarrow Cleanser to get a deeper clean and to get rid of the coconut oil. Every couple of days I use the Glossier Galaxy Mask Pack and I spread it all over my face and leave it on for about half an hour while I clean up my room and finish up any freelancing work that I’m up to.

I then use toner and I switch off between the Glossier Solution (click here for 20% off) and the Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toning Solution. Then I go ahead and drop some Glossier Super Pure Serum all over my face and finish it all off with this Nature Republic Moisturizer.

And that's it!

I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the responses from my last post. I received an overwhelming amount of texts, messages, comments, and general love from all of you. I am humbled and grateful to be surrounded by such kind and loving people. You’re all the best!

We all go through a lot of the same stuff, what a disservice to one another to walk alone.

Thanks for reading, Cheers!
