February Favs & Reviews

February moved so quickly, I feel like I didn't get much of a chance to discover too many new things. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this month in spite of how busy it was, so without further ado, here are my favorites from this past month.

S-Town- I listened to the first episode a couple months back and put it down because I didn't take too much of an interest in it. I decided to give it another shot and WOW such a turn of events... This series touches on death, homosexuality, friendship, and etc. I don't know how to really describe it, but if you like crime or anything of that nature, give it a listen and let's talk about it!

I've been listening to a lot of the same stuff recently, so I'm definitely on the look out for some new music. Here's what's been on repeat lately.

I'm going to see a Coin in a week and I'm real excited about it! Trying hard to fulfill my 2018 concert goals!

I didn't get to read or watch anything new that was particularly great this month, so please send me some recs and I'll be sure to check them out! I did rewatch a lot of The Office and HIMYM though and I'll always love these old time classics. I got a movie pass recently, so I'm excited to watch anything and everything that comes out!

The Solution- I received this towards the beginning of February and didn't love it at first. I thought it was nothing special, but after a couple weeks, I noticed that my discoloration was improving and my face was feeling softer overall. 10/10 would buy again! Check it out for yourself and get 20% off while you're at it!

The Ordinary Primer- Let me just begin by saying, I love everything I have from this line. It is the most affordable and effective skincare regimen I've ever used. This primer is magic! It smooths out my skin and I hardly grab for concealer anymore. I finish it off with some powder and my skin stays fresh all day.

NYX Matte Finishing Spray- I used to be an avid user of this product, but completely forgot about it for a couple of months. I recently picked it up again and I wonder why I ever stopped using it. It's a really great and affordable setting spray and helps with smudging and wear time.

Denim Jacket- I was in the market for a denim jacket and found this one at Old Navy at the beginning of the month. If you saw me at all this month, I was probably wearing this. It goes with everything and has been perfect for layering in this cold California weather.

Adidas Stan Smith- I've been living in these since I got them. Sadly, they are a little too big for me but they were a final sale item and I ordered them online, but still v comfortable. I don't know how clean they'll stay but I kind of like when white shoes are a little scuffed and look lived in.

Patagonia Pullover- If I'm not wearing the denim jacket, I'm probably wearing this. This was stupidly expensive but it's the softest and coziest thing I own and I'm obsessed. It's also very warm and is definitely a worthwhile investment.

Key Fob- I loooove this thing. It's cute and practical and I got my name monogrammed on it. Most of my stuff is black with gold hardware so it goes well with everything I own.

That's all for this month! I'm so excited for March because I'll be taking a short break from work and transitioning to a new job! Again, thankful for all the friends who have spent time with me this past month, all of you are golden!
